Pytanie: What AFQT Score Do I Need To Get In Order To Be An MP (Military Police)?
( Wstecz )
Answer #1:
If you can fog a mirror, you can guard a gate.Answer #2:
Before you try to retake the ASVAB (technically by regulation you're not supposed to retake it just to get a higher score if you already passed, but some people get away with it anyway) see what jobs are offered to you with your current score. Your AFQT only determines your eligibilty to get into the Army, it doesn't determine what jobs you get. Your line scores are what get you your job and you may have gotten lucky and got the required line score for it. See your recruiter and have them show you what jobs are available for you right now. I've seen people with scores in the low to mid 30s who were offered jobs in administration, supply, and more. Everything you listed is based on law enforcement and the only ones we really have that relate to that are MP, Internment/Resettlement Specialist, and CID.Answer #3:
HelloWell, first off, you didn't realize that the practice book does not contain any of the current questions on the official ASVAB. The questions there are for your practice to become familiar with the test, it's makeup, and not to be scared by the multiple choice, the timing of each sub-test, and such.
The book tells you that it is not the actual current test but questions from old discarded tests.
Here are ALL the Army jobs: Please read the job descriptions:

Military Police is 31B

ASVAB Score Required: 95 in aptitude area ST
You need a 95 on the ASVAB in the area of Skilled Technical
ST- Skilled Technical-GS+VE+MK+MC
GS = General Science
MK = Math Knowledge
MC = Mechanical Comprehension
VE = Sum of Word Knowledge (WK) and Paragraph Comprehension (PC) , scaled (VE).
The jobs you listed are unlikely for you to qualify for. We don't have "forensic investigations" like in civilian police work. You probably get a little of it when you are in cop school for 19 weeks.
New Recruits do not get into Criminal Investigation Division. You need to be an NCO and have experience in the Army.

I suggest that you go to the entire listing of Army jobs that I posted above and read them all.
Make a list of the Top 10 you "could" be interested in.
Then, narrow the list down to the Top 5.
THEN, go talk to a recruiter. Don't let him/her sell you a job just because that's all that is open that month.
Make them wait for you. Tell them to put your name on the top of their call list and call you each month and tell you if the jobs you want a guarantee for are available.
Patience.
Best wishes,
